I bought the book after seeing the AMAZING cover and enjoyed it very much. The plot is wonderful, in my opinion. I absolutely ADORE the characters and their individual stories. One of the best books I've read. I'm very into the magic thing. QUEEN SLAY! I would recommend this book to many people. I even did my Summer Reading project on it. So excited for the rest of the series. (Oh, and I've bought The Copper Gauntlet too!)
  • Nice book

I really liked this book. Although a lot of people say that it is a copy of Harry Potter it isn't. Although it does have the whole two boys and one girl thing and the main bad guy would like nothing more than to kill the main character. Every one is using this as an excuse to hate on the book. In my opinion the book is different in its own way and it has its own storyline that is so much more different than most of the other magic books out there.
  • Spoiler alert

Near the end of the book there is MAJOR PLOT TWIST with Callum Hunt
  • Copy of Harry Potter

Don't bother reading this book. It is such a copy of Harry Potter. Call has a leg injury like Harry's scar, the villain especially wants to kill the main character, and the whole two boys one girl thing? I find it hard to believe that it ever got published. Listen to me and don't waste your time.
