  • Great book, needs to be updated

    By SinatraMac
I love Dave Ramsey and I love his thinking. I read Total Money Makeover in literally 3 days and didn't know if I should buy this book, Financial Peace as I was fearful of reading the same info and wasting $16.99 Two major points: 1. It was worth the read. Yes, Total Money Makeover is a better book, though this book dives into other items like investing, budget planning if your single, finding deals, etc. I also appreciated reading more about his Christian Faith. 2. This book NEEDS to be updated. Check writing in the checkout line is a thing of the past, yet he talks about it. You can tell that this was written in the mid to late 90's. I can't trust the stock market rates he quoted and nothing about the post recession after 2008.
