Book Synopsis

A pet . . . a friend . . . or a relative dies, and it must be explained to a child. This sensitive book is a useful tool in explaining to children that death is a part of life and that, eventually, all living things reach the end of their own special lifetimes.

Our 9 year old cat died today and my 9 year old daughter found him in her room. We all took it hard because the only thing out of the ordinary was that he was starting to hide in areas of the house he never went. I explained as generic as possible but I found this book that made understanding better. This is a great book for children and when my daughter feels down, we can re-read this story again. Good book!
