The Emoji Movie pops into theaters on July 28, 2017!

The Emoji Movie unlocks the never-before-seen secret world inside your smartphone. Hidden within the messaging app is Textopolis, a bustling city where all your favorite Emojis live, hoping to be selected by the phone’s user. In this world, each Emoji has only one facial expression—except for Gene, an exuberant Emoji who was born without a filter and is bursting with multiple expressions. Determined to become “normal” like the other Emojis, Gene enlists the help of his handy best friend Hi-5 and the notorious rebel Emoji Jailbreak. Together, they embark on an epic “app-venture” through the apps on the phone, each its own wild and fun world, to find the code that will fix Gene. But when a greater danger threatens the phone, the fate of all Emojis depends on these three unlikely friends who must save their world before it’s deleted forever.

When I heard that this book had finally hit the iBooks store, I dabbed so deeply in celebration, that I traveled through time. When I awoke from my long, deep, dab, I found that I had traveled to the date July 28th. You can bet your bottom dollar that I was busting through the cinemark spinning doors, waiting to hear the sweet symphony of T.J. Miller's voice traveling into my ears. As I entered the theater with my limited edition emoji movie fidget spinner, I looked around at all the other happy faces ready for the greatness that was soon to hit them. There was only one problem, I couldn't resist the urge to dab. Mid-Dab, I realized that if a dab brought me to this beautiful future, another dab might reel me back to June! I tried to delay the dab, but it was too late. My left arm caressed my nose as my body tilted to the side. I had dabbed even more deeply than I had before! Suddenly I was pulled back to present day, filled with sorry and despair Hey but at least I can still read this book
